To celebrate 15 years of High 5, we are launching a new community initiative to help give children a reason to smile more.
A New Chapter Built on 15 Years of Creating Magical Childhoods
For 15 years, High 5 has been dedicated to creating magical memories for children through holiday camps, after-school clubs and active, adventurous play.
We have watched thousands of children grow in confidence, build friendships and discover what they love.
But we have always known there are children who need more support, more connection, and more opportunities to experience joy.
The Big Smiles Project CIC (Community Interest Company) is our commitment to those children.
Every Child Deserves the Chance to Smile
Not every child gets the carefree childhood they deserve. Some children face:
- Illness or disability
- Bereavement and loss
- Financial hardship
- Special educational needs (SEN)
- Challenging home circumstances
- Social isolation or lack of opportunities
These challenges can dim a child’s spark.
We believe no child should miss out on joy, a feeling of belonging and magical experiences
Our Mission
To support children who need it most with experiences that uplift, inspire and bring happiness back into their childhoods.
The Big Smiles Project will deliver inclusive, supportive experiences designed to help children feel:

It is about hope, belonging and emotional wellbeing.

The Big Smiles Project is founded by the team behind High 5 – an award-winning provider of children’s camps, clubs and activities across the South West.
Over the last 15 years, we have:
- Delivered thousands of activity days for children
- Supported families across Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall
- Built trusted partnerships with schools and communities
- Navigated challenges including COVID while continuing to support families
- Won industry recognition for excellence in children’s activities
Big Smiles carries the heart and values of High 5 into a dedicated community-focused mission.
Become a Big Smiles Business Supporter
We’re inviting local businesses to sponsor funded holiday camp places for children who would otherwise miss out.
A donation of £800 will help support young people facing financial hardship who do not qualify for existing schemes such as HAF or Fit & Fed. We work closely with local schools to identify families most in need, ensuring your support makes a genuine difference in the community.
As a Big Smiles Business Supporter, your organisation will receive social media shoutouts, a logo feature on our Supporters Page, a digital supporter badge, and mentions in press releases.
Most importantly, you’ll be helping give children the chance to stay active, build confidence and leave camp with a smile.
