FAQs

We have tried to cover all the questions we find are common amongst parents looking to make bookings at our camps. However if you do not find the answer you are looking for below then please just call the office and ask. We are always happy to take your calls and will do our best to help you in any way we can.


WILL MY CHILD REMAIN ON SITE ALL DAY?

If your child is attending the NEW rookies camps for 5 – 7 year old’s then they will always remain onsite throughout the day. For the older children 8+ we do offer the option of taking part in some of our adventure activities which take part locally at off site venues. However these are optional and NOBODY will ever be taken off site without prior written consent from their parent or guardian.


HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT OFF SITE ACTIVITIES ARE TAKING PLACE DURING THIS HOLIDAYS?

Off site adventure activities vary depending on the time of year and also other factors beyond our control. We will always try to let people know well in advance what will be on offer for the upcoming holidays but if you want to make a booking and cannot find this information beforehand then please contact the office for further information.


CAN I BRING A FRIEND/ FRIENDS WITH ME TO THE CAMPS?

Yes of course you can the more the merrier and please contact us about our special friends group discount if there are 5 or more of you all coming together.


DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE MINIBUS SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM SOUTH DEVON TENNIS CENTRE, IVYBRIDGE AND WHAT TIME DOES IT LEAVE?

The minibus will leave SDTC at 08:30am and will bring the children back to the centre at 17:30pm. This is a free service with the only difference being that the cost is for the 8:00am – 18:00pm rate for the day. Spaces on this transport will be limited so we recommend booking early to enure you get a seat.


HOW DO I BOOK IN?

The booking forms can be found on the website and should contain all the information you need. If it is your first time attending the camps we will send you out a new player registration form to ensure we have all the details that we need. Once the forms are completed just send them back together with payment and we will reserve your place/s. Please note that all bookings must be sent together with payment in full before your place will be reserved.


DO YOU ACCEPT CHILDCARE VOUCHERS AS PAYMENT FOR THE HOLIDAY CAMPS?

Yes, as we are registered with Ofsted we can accept a number of different voucher schemes as payment for the camps. Our unique reference number is EY431411 so if you have used these types of schemes before then please contact the office to notify us that this is how you will be making payment and then do what you normally do to activate them. If however you are unsure if we can accept a voucher or if you have not used vouchers in the past then please contact the office and we will help find out what is acceptable.


WHAT IS THE DROP OFF AND COLLECTION POLICY AT THE HOLIDAY CAMPS?

We operate a strict sign in and sign out policy at the camps. No children will be able to leave the site without being collected by a named adult from their booking form. If you need to make alternative arrangements for their collection then please notify us beforehand preferably in writing or by telephone if it is late notice.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE TO COLLECT MY CHILDREN?

Our hours of opening are from 8:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday during school holidays. Any children collected after 18:00 will incur a late collection fee of £5 for every 10 minutes late they are collected.
